Lou Lou and Company at Bijou Market

Bijou Market only comes around 2x a year and I swear it should be considered it's own holiday because it is so much fun. I have loved crafting and creating for this year's upcoming spring event the very most!! I feel like I have finally found something that I love to make and that I love to see on Rosie as well as other sweet baby girls. Bijou is this Friday and Saturday and you do not want to miss out!

Look for the Lou Lou & Company booth because we will have our prices discounted 10%-30% off of everything we make.

There is a link to our shop on the side bar of my blog if you are interested in checking out the different products we make.

Baby Bracelets

So I have teamed up with my sister to sell again at this spring's Bijou Market in April and this time I will be making baby bracelets. I love putting them on Rosie to give her a little bling on a daily basis. I am excited to be able to offer these handmade bracelets to other moms now too because there is nothing much sweeter than a little babe adorned with some jewels.

Here are a couple shots of Rosie wearing her bracelets all dressed up in her Sunday best.
The quality of the bracelets endures through lots of wear and even bath time. They are made with 14K gold plated or sterling silver plated beads and clasps. There is a link to our shop over on the sidebar of my blog (Lou Lou & Co) with some of my bracelets and my sister's gorgeous swaddle blankets for sale.

Right now we are having a giveaway on our Instagram account. If you want to enter or hear about future products and giveaways go follow along. You can find us at @loulouandcoshop.

Baby Girl Shower

I wanted to share some pictures of my sister Karen's baby shower that my other sisters and I threw for her recently. There was an amazing turn-out and I was so happy that it was a success for Karen. We had a blast putting together the theme for this shower. Each of us were responsible for different parts of the decor, food and invitations and the best part was seeing it all come together in the end. We are all so excited to meet this new addition to our family. She will no doubt be the best dressed little lady around. I'm especially excited to be living just a short 5 blocks away from them so I will be visiting often to get my fill of baby time.

Sorry for the low quality images. I forgot my real camera so I just snapped a few with my phone and lighting inside was not the best.

..the SWAP..

The SWAP at Riverwoods last weekend was a hit.
For the entire three hours that it was going,
there were people lining the sidewalks outside of Soel Boutique.
Shoppers bargained, traded and bought "new to them", clothing to take to their closets at home.
Here are a few pictures I snapped while there.

Preparing and laying out all my clothes. Ridiculous right? I know. I have repented of my old ways.

The sidewalk line up of swappers.

This little girl was super happy about her find while there. She eyed this pretty jewelry box all by herself. I gave her the money and she bravely walked up to the owner and asked to buy it. So cute.

She was my best pal there. Haley was a worker bee. She didn't complain once in helping me set up, sell, give back change to buyers, and close up shop at the end. Such a trooper. I wouldn't have gone and done it without my little sidekick.

So happy.

Our rewards after the SWAP. Yummm.

..Are you coming?..

Laura convinced me that I should participate in this year's swap.  We just finished going through some of my old clothes that I never wear anymore and now I am getting very excited to get rid of them and to see if I can find anything there to swap with people.

Hope to see you there!

..Bijou Recap..

We had such a fun time being a part of the Bijou Market last weekend. Preparing for the market was exhausting, invigorating, exciting, fun, tiring, but in the end it was all worth it. There was so much amazing talent packed into one room. We loved meeting a lot of the local vendors and getting to see their booths.  We brought home new treasures from a lot of the vendor. Here are the pictures we took of our booth during the market.  We were so thrilled to be admitted into such a prestigious market and we had such a great experience and hope to be a part of it again in the future.

Did you get a chance to go to the market?
 What did you think?
Share with us the treasures you got there.
